Invite the holiday into your home with some decorations. Pick up delicious treats like, candies, cookies and chocolates, and more from Quality Foods or Cobs Bread. For added fun, try making your own decorations with craft supplies from Dollar Tree or pop by A Step Above for some creative finds. You can try to paint some branches black and add creepy cobwebs on your wall for a Halloween themed accent wall. You can also tie a larger sized balloon with a smaller one and add 8 unfurled wire handers for giant spider decoration. For extra special family time, try making your costumes at home.
We always look forward to haunted houses for Halloween and this year will definitely be different without them in real life but we do have a fun Haunted House that is definitely safe and fun to visit by clicking here.
And, there’s lots of other fun activities you can do with your family with the extra time on your hands! Visit your local pumpkin patch and pick a pumpkin to carve right at home. You can have a small competition in your family to determine the ultimate pumpkin carver for the year. While at the patch, snap some pictures with your family to commemorate the holiday spirit. Be sure to tag us at #EagleCreekVlg in your pics and share with all of your friends on your social media accounts!
Virtual Parties and Office Galore!
Holiday parties this year are definitely going to be a step away from tradition. But a few twists to your usual party rules can mean having just as much fun with your friends and family! Instead of hosting a party in your home, invite your friends to a virtual event. You can bake some sweets to enjoy at home and play virtual games with your friends.
Halloween is often celebrated in the office with costume contests, a special lunch, or even an after work party. So why skip the holiday fun this year? You can add a virtual social hour at the end of your week, grab your favourite drink, and spend some great quality time with your coworkers.
Whichever way you choose to celebrate Halloween, we wish you a safe and happy event from all of us at Eagle Creek Village.
